Misbah Ul-Haq Steps Down as Twenty20 CaptainPakistan’s middle order batsman Misbah Ul-Haq has stood down as Twenty20 captain for Pakistan. Zaka Ashraf, the PCB Chairman speaking at the same interview also announced that Mohammed Hafeez will fill in Misbah’s shoes and captain Pakistan in future T20 matches. It has been assumed that Misbah Ul-Haq will continue to captain the national side in Tests and the 50 over format.

Australia's ODI Squad Named for Tour of England and IrelandToday, Australia have named their 50 overs squad for the Australian team’s tour of Ireland and England in June and July. The 15 man squad has a few surprises, the highly rated Pat Cummins, all-rounder Steve Smith and the left arm Mitchell Johnson have all been surprise picks in the ODI squad. Pat Cummins and Mitchell Johnson were the start of Australia’s injury hit players struck in South Africa last year and will be relieved to be given another chance.
